Let me tell you guys, I was so excited when I saw Jayati do this tag! I had to grab it and try it myself. I have now officially touted that both of these series are my absolute favorite, so let’s see what this tag tells me!
1. FAVOURITE MAIN CHARACTER: AELIN OR FEYRE?
We really started with a tough one to begin with, huh? I think I’m going to have to go with Aelin for this one. I had a really tough time choosing between the two, I think it came down to Aelin having such a huge story and so much depth to her character, but I do still love me some Feyre.
2. FAVOURITE LOVE INTEREST: RHYSAND OR ROWAN?
Not a single question about it, Rhysand is the winner. I’m a fan of Rowan, but Rhys really takes the cake for me.
3. BEST FIRST BOOK: THRONE OF GLASS OR A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES?
Throne of Glass… 100%. ACOMAF is what made me love ACOTAR so much, so without ACOMAF I wouldn’t love ACOTAR as much.
4. STRONG FEMALE SUPPORTING CHARACTER: NESTA ARCHERON OR MANON BLACKBEAK?
Manon! I can’t wait to see more on Nesta, but until then Manon will hold the crown… heh.
5. FAVOURITE SQUAD: AELIN’S COURT OR RHYSAND’S INNER CIRCLE?
The inner circle. I do love Aelin’s court and they really went through some shit, but I can’t get past how amazing the dynamics are in the inner circle.
6. FAVOURITE FEMALE FRIENDSHIP: AELIN AND LYSANDRA OR FEYRE AND MOR?
I think I will have to go with Aelin and Lysandra for this one only because it was so needed and grew from so much.
7. BEST VILLAIN: KING OF ADARLAN OR AMARANTHA?
Amarantha, I hated her so much, she was such a good villain.
8. BETTER SETTING: ERILEA OR PRYTHIAN?
I think I’m going to go with Prythian, I really enjoyed the idea that there was a mortal realm in such a close proximity to a faerie realm. I thought Maas did such a great job.
9. BETTER EX-BOYFRIEND: CHAOL OR TAMLIN?
100% Chaol. There was never I time that I hated Chaol and ohhhhh I hated Tamlin…
10. BETTER NOVELLA: THE ASSASSIN’S BLADE OR A COURT OF FROST AND STARLIGHT?
The Assassin’s Blade for sure, but honestly it’s not super fair to compare the two. ACOFAS is really a continuation and The Assassin’s Blade is necessary for the story!

This was a great tag! It made me realize how similar but different these two series are. I can’t wait for Maas to continue the stories so we can see where they go from here.
