Today is officially my final day of summer. It’s definitely bittersweet. I’m excited to get back to teaching my students. However, I will definitely miss the extra time to read whenever I wanted to. In honor of summer ending, I decided to create a summer wrap-up.

As you can see our reread of the Throne of Glass series has kind of taken over my reading life. In the past two months I’ve only read 8 books. However, I am very happy with my progress. I’m hoping I can keep up some of this momentum during the school year.
I picked up the Stephanie Plum series this summer! I really enjoy it. It’s a quick, easy, fun read. On the flip side, I also finally read A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness and of course cried like a baby lol
Looks you had a great summer! Thanks for sharing ❤

Ohh, you did read quite a lot over the summer!
My summers ended a month ago *sighs* and I think the best book I read in the summers was The Priory of the Orange Tree!

My reading record this summer has been pathetic, but I’ve been listening to IT on audiobook at work, which I’m enjoying. A lot.

My favorite read of the summer (and the year tbh) was Middlegame ❤
