So, I know here at Thrice Read, it has been a little bit since our recent resurgence of posts, so with that I figured that now would be a perfect time to do a little getting to know me through books, book tag!
I found this great tag through InsideMyLibraryMind, be sure to check out that original post here!
This is really tough, but I think I could honestly say The Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas… I know, I know… judge all you want!
Probably Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
This is really, really tough. I’m going to make it a series that I have finished and to make this book tag with the least amount of SJM answers as possible and say Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. (A duology counts as a series, right?)
Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. Why did no one tell me that I needed to get onto that book back when it originally came out, I waited too damn long!
I honestly have no idea, I’m not much of a comic book reader.
Because what this book helped my reading habits during a very crucial time in my life, I have to say Throne of Glass. I had such negative connotations in my own mind about books in specific genres and this book specifically broke that wide open for me quite a few years ago.
I ugly cry at so many books recently, so this is actually pretty difficult, I would probably say one of the best ugly cries, I’ve had in a while was when I read It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover.
The book that always reminds me how much I laughed when reading it was The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice & Virtue by Mackenzi Lee.
Particularly fitting, but Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor, 100%.
I could not tell you the last book I DNFed, honestly.
There are SO MANY right now, but I would have to say the one I’m most excited to read after our TOG reread is done is Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor.
There are so many good books in your answers! I am a huge Sarah J Maas fan as well – haven’t read Kingdom of Ash yet purely because I don’t want the series to end! xo
