Eden’s October TBR

This month I’m not giving you a wrap up.

I know, I know. It sounds lazy, but four of the books I read last month were the exact same as Jenn and Caitlynn so it doesn’t make a tone of sense to repeat the same thing over and over again.

So. Instead, you guys are getting a TBR.

I’ll have a book review for you guys on Friday. I didn’t have a chance to finish my book today to get it up on here, so if you’re curious about my thoughts on A Gathering of Shadows, make sure you check out the page on Friday.

NOW!

For the moment you’ve all been waiting for — my TBR:

  • Remember when this was on my TBR for last month? Yeah, me too. I vow to read this book this month no matter how badly I want to read other stuff (A Gathering of Shadows just forced me to read it, ok?).

  • You’re reading this right now going, “Eden, this is literally a redo of your last September TBR,” I promise. It will deviate.

  • I told you it would deviate! Ok, so I bought this book a little while ago and I continue to stare at it on my shelf and it needs to be read because it’s driving me nuts. Also, the story sounds… interesting. It’s described on Goodreads as a “prehistorical fantasy with allusions to Pride and Prejudice.” I guess we’ll see.

  • Remember when I read the first book of this series and I said, “Maybe I’ll read the next one.” Welp, I’m reading the next one. I liked the last one. I think since it was so full of world building book two can focus more on the actual character development in this book and I’m excited to see how that works out. Again, we’ll see.

  1. Ah I’m so nervy about doing TBR’s because I know I’ll deviate!
I did also start Ice Like Fire today, I’ve heard such mixed reviews about it. Excited to see what you think. 🙂

    1. I know the feeling! I plan to read stuff and then I just find myself reading something that I happened to realllllly want to read.

Ooo cool. If you review it I’ll have to check it out. I’m planning on reading it closer to the end of the month. The first book was a bit slow so I’m hoping this one is a bit better.
